Electrical Design Engineer

Exciting opportunity for E lectrical Design Engineers , to join an established electrical design company with affiliates across large multidisciplinary design companies that are based in the UK.

The company had a steady growth over the last years and has secured a significant workload across various industries.

We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to join the team and work remotely with electrical design teams based in the UK, to help manage the increased workload.

The working hours are 37.5, to be worked flexibly, Monday to Friday between 08.00 -18.00.

The Role:

• All entry levels considered.
• Remotely based.
• You will work alongside electrical, control and instrumentation design teams, delivering large infrastructure projects in the UK.
• Provide 2D drafting resource, producing electrical design deliverables.
• Support lead design engineers in co-ordinating project activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Depending on experience, perform detailed electrical calculations, simulations and reports.

Qualifications and Essential Skills:

• Bachelor's degree, HNC or HND in Electrical Engineering or related field. Recent electrical graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent 2D AutoCAD skills, knowledge and demonstrable experience.
• Experience in electrical design,
• Good understanding of electrical standards, and regulations
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Desirable Experience:

Combination of some of the below skills are desirable for the role, however these are not essential for the application.

• Experience of Trimble Electrical Designer (Amtech) software tools is desirable
• Experience of PLC systems and site communication networks is desirable
• Experience in creating and reviewing supplier technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, schematics, telemetry schedules, FDS documents, instrumentation.
• Experience in water treatment or related industries.
