Field Service Engineer

Basic Information

TFT (TESCO FOOD TECHNOLOGY) S.A. seeks an Electrical Engineer to join their Field Service team in Athens. This role involves providing installation, operation, and preventive maintenance services for liquid packaging equipment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and technical support.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation, operation, and preventive maintenance services for equipment with focus on liquid packaging machines
• Manage all on-site technical work including installation, repair, maintenance, and testing to maximize system performance
• Manage ordering and organization of external supplier services
• Perform troubleshooting and error detection services both on-site and remotely
• Communicate with customers to build and maintain positive relationships and monitor customer issues
• Supervise training of customer personnel on equipment usage
• Execute all work according to TFT standards, procedures, and protocols related to equipment use and food safety
• Reduce operational costs for customers while ensuring high satisfaction through quality service provision
• Create accurate and detailed technical service reports using TFT software
• Maintain workflow with customers in Greece and abroad according to schedule

Requirements

• Technical or mechanical engineering background (e.g., Electrical Engineer, Electronics)
• Mechanical and electrical experience of at least 2 years relevant to the field
• Technical experience in food industry including knowledge of processing and product packaging equipment
• Understanding of automation systems and PLC programming knowledge
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Willingness to travel
