Assistant Accountant

for the Monasty Hotel, Autograph Collection by Marriott

Responsibilities

• Keep accurate accounting records and reports.
• Produces an accurate set of month-end accounts, with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods.
• Assist with the processing of financial information to management and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports.
• Controls/Process payroll
• Assists in preparing budgets and business planning.
• Ensures legislation is followed regarding all Hotel related legal issues.
• Maintains accounting controls, policies, and procedures.
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in tax, accounting, or finance
• Previous work experience in similar position
• Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Good English written and verbal communication skills.
• Pleasant personality, passionate for excellence
