Project Manager (EU funded R&D Projects)

Intracom Defense (IDE) is the leading defense company in Greece with significant international activity. IDE designs, develops and manufactures products and systems that incorporate advanced in-house developed technologies in the areas of Missile Electronics, Tactical Communication and Information Systems, Border and Area Security solutions, Hybrid Electric Power Systems and Unmanned Surface and Air platforms.

IDE is a registered NATO supplier and participates in international development and production programs, as well as in international collaborations for the production and export of defense equipment.

IDE is currently looking for a dynamic and ambitious Project Manager (EU funded R&D Projects) to join the Programs Management Department. This role requires the coordination and management of National, European or international research and technology programs, in cooperation with universities, research institutes, SMEs, other industries and public organizations.

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will:

• develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
• coordinate internal and external resources for the successful execution of projects.
• establish communication with project partners.
• ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
• ensure resource availability and allocation.
• perform risk management to minimize project risks.
• manage the relationship with the clients and stakeholders.
• create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reporting.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

• University Degree in relevant technical area (Engineering or equivalent).
• Master Degree in relevant management or technical area.
• At least three (3) years of proven experience in Project Management or Project Coordination of EU funded programs (e.g. H2020, EDF).
• Strong knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent command of English language.
• Availability to travel abroad.

Desired:

• PMP/ PRINCE II Certification.
• Knowledge of the International Defense, Security or Aerospace Research and Technology domain.

• Very good planning and time-management skills.
