Area Sales Manager

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, a Greek leading company with specialization in furniture and home manufacturing, is looking for Area Sales Manager.

📌 Location: Athens
📍 Working Model: On-site
🖋️You will be reporting to: Retail Sales Director

Responsibilities

The purpose of the role is to overseeing sales operations and performance within a specific geographical region.

More specifically:

• Motivates and ensures the achievement of the monthly sales targets of the store in their region.
• Participates in sales forecasting, setting, and revising sales targets for the retail network.
• Informs their team about new products, promotional activities, and commercial policies during discount periods.
• Prepares reports on the results of actions and financial outcomes in their region.
• Evaluates team efficiency, discusses, and suggests improvement actions.
• Ensures the necessary stock levels of products and promotional materials in the stores under their responsibility.
• Monitors the maintenance of statistical records of store visits, sales, and management.
• Monitors competition and informs with relevant reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in economics or business administration.
• At least 4-5 years of experience in a similar position in the sales sector, particularly in fast-moving consumer goods.
• Experience in team management and store operations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Results-oriented mindset.
