The successful candidate will provide operational IT support including a thorough understanding of all company systems, monitoring & administration of IT systems and software, and the routine planned preventative maintenance of IT equipment throughout the Hotel in Mykonos.

  Key Responsibilities

 

Support the IT Manager on all IT functions.

Ensure operational sustainability in the Hotel in Mykonos.

Be the contact point and supervise external system providers.

Advise the management of the Hotel on additional facilities, which could be provided by either existing or new IT systems and technological advances.

Ensure that all Hotel computer systems are working according to the specific standards and provide immediate support to staff and guests as required.

Ensure the Hotel is technologically advanced and efficient with regards to hospitality information technology and mandatory company software.

Develop a good understanding of the hotel infrastructure.

Advanced Software Installation and configuration knowledge.

Excellent ability to perform systems backups and data recovery.

Competent with windows 10/11, office 365, CCTV, and CCNA.

Troubleshooting any problems with the Hotel structured cabling (UTP-FIBER Use of FLUKE equipment).

Requirements

3 years of proven experience as a system/network administrator, preferably within the hospitality sector.

BSc in Information Technology/Computer Science (relevant master’s degree would be highly appreciated).

Good knowledge of network troubleshooting and firewalling, preferably holder of CCNA.

Strong English communication capabilities in speaking and writing.

Need to be flexible and professional to solve any issues that arise, which will also require excellent communication skills.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2012/2016.

Proficient with Macintosh hardware & software troubleshooting and hotel applications including Opera, Micros Simphony, IPTV, and PBX.

Working knowledge of computer software applications.

Rapid response and resilience.
