IT Technician

P.G. NIKAS S.A., a fast-growing FMCG company, is seeking to recruit:

an IT Technician to join the I.T. team

Position Requirements:

• Provide first and second-level technical support to end-users (on-site and remote)
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Provide Industry Support
• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot a wide range of systems and services
• Participate in the design, implementation, and support of Network & IT infrastructure
• Deploy new operating systems and features, middle ware applications as well as provide enhancements to existing applications and software
• Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and integrators to ensure that systems are running smoothly
• Participate in IT projects and contribute to process improvements

Candidate Profile:

• University/ College Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or relevant technology field
• A proven record of 1-2 years of IT-related experience
• Good experience in development, systems’ implementation, and applications
• Knowledge of Windows OS
• Set up accounts and workstations - User Support
• Experience in M365 and Intune
• Completed military obligations for male candidates
• Analytical and problem-solving skills, Customer-oriented mindset, Continuous learner, Team player attitude
• Strong critical thinking, decision-making skills and strong ability to prioritize
• Driving License

Nice to Have - Will be considered a plus

• Experience in Industry Support
• Experience in ticketing systems
• Configure storage, servers, fabric switches and systems, Microsoft servers (Cluster Services, File Services, Active directory Services), Virtual Infrastructure (VMware) backup systems and networks
• Familiarity with Linux systems
• Basic scripting skills (PowerShell)
• Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls)
• Cybersecurity awareness or certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC-900)
• ITIL Foundation or similar IT service management experience
