On behalf of our client, a leading residential construction company, we are currently looking for a self-driven  Construction Design Manager , to join their construction team.

A day in the life of a Construction Design Manager

As a Construction Design Manager, you will oversee and coordinate all design-related aspects of the company's construction projects, ensuring that all design processes are seamlessly integrated and executed efficiently. This role is pivotal in maintaining project schedules and facilitating smooth workflows, thereby ensuring that construction activities progress without delays.

Your day to day

• Coordinate and manage the design processes involved in a construction project, ensuring that drawings are ready on time, reviewing designs and making them suitable & available to the appropriate people involved
• Update existing construction drawings to become more specific to the project (floor plans, ceiling plans, sections, elevations, interiors, construction details)
• Collaborating with Site Engineers, Designers, and other Consultants to determine the design specifications of each project.
• Maintain records and documents throughout each project
• Assess and manage risks connected with design
• Occasional site visits

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in similar role in Engineering or Architectural sector
• Degree in Architecture Engineering
• Ability to understand and interpret architectural 2D drawings, 3D models, and concepts.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English in both writing and speaking is a prerequisite.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD
