As a leading company in hospitality we are seeking for:

Event Services Manager

The Event Services Manager is responsible for managing banquet events at the hotel. This person supervises event room set-ups, service, and maintenance of all banquet functions and banquet equipment. This role is a highly detailed role within the hotel to complete event requirement and create an appealing experience for guests.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute flawless events, including weddings, conferences, and corporate functions.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and ensure their vision is brought to life.
  • Manage event logistics, including venue setup, catering, audiovisual equipment, and guest accommodations.
  • Oversee a team of event coordinators and staff to ensure seamless execution.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local partners.
  • Monitor event budgets and negotiate contracts to maximize profitability.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to exceed guest expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in event planning or management, preferably in a luxury hotel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passion for creating memorable experiences for guests.

Knowledge, skills, abilities:

  • A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be highly organized, results oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast-paced changing environment.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations in a calm, professional manner and exhibit good judgement.
  • Strong leadership capabilities, with developed communication and listening skills.
  • Time Management skills to meet commitments across multiple departments and roles.
