Pastry chef

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Chef to join their culinary team in Limassol. The ideal candidate will have experience in pastry production, creativity in dessert design, and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods, pastries, and desserts, ensuring our desserts stand out for their quality and presentation.

Candidate Profile:

. Culinary degree or equivalent experience in pastry arts is preferred.

. Proficient in various baking techniques and pastry preparation.

. Creative flair for developing new dessert recipes and presentation styles.

. Strong knowledge of food safety.

. Excellent time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

. Passion for pastry arts and culinary creativity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

. Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts according to established recipes and presentation standards.

. Ensuring quality, taste, and presentation are maintained.

. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to plan and execute dessert menus for events and daily operations.

. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate innovative techniques and flavor profiles into dessert offerings.

. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry station and kitchen equipment.

. Assist with special dietary requests or customization for desserts when necessary.
