Job description
Our client is c and the first Cyprus company to receive a license to operate as an Electronic Money Institution granted in 2007. They are currently looking for an Senior Accountant to join their team in Larnaca.
Job Duties
The main duties and responsibilities for the position:
Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Maintain and update accounting records and files.
Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.
Conduct internal controls to ensure financial integrity.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Stay updated with accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations to ensure full compliance.
Maintenance of the accounting books and records for clients.
Preparation and submission of VAT, VIES and other tax returns.
Job Requirements
The appropriate candidate will have at least the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good communication skills in English.
Job Benefits

Salary: € 3000-3500 gross per month

21 working days paid annual leave
Working hours:
8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm
