The Role
The role reports to the Deputy Financial Manager of the company and the aim of the jobholder will be the preparation of financial results, financial forecasts, and analysis.
Main responsibilities
- Responsible for the preparation of monthly balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement, and monthly management reporting.
- Support the preparation of the annual Budget and Cashflow (P&L, BS, CF) of the company.
- Support the preparation of the quarterly and semiannual forecasts.
- Prepare monthly management reporting and other ad hoc analysis/reports as per management requirements.
- Cooperate effectively with all related departments, producing timely financial information required while adopting automated reporting tools to increase productivity and business understanding.
- Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships both internally and externally at all levels.
Requirements
- BSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics. A Master's degree is desirable.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller more than 5 years.
- Relevant certifications (i.e., ACA/ACCA/CFA/IFRS Diploma) are highly valued.
- Good knowledge of Accounting and G.A.A.P.
- Experience in ERP system will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, highly proficient particularly in Excel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and detail oriented.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
- Able to handle pressure well and being self-motivated.
