Role
Provide functional support on all business applications in company’s portfolio and enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness by analyzing and documenting business requirements related to business applications.
Responsibilities
- Supports at second level applications, engaging in incident and problem management, mentoring first level support agents team regarding applications.
- Provides ongoing support and troubleshooting for application issues, including root cause analysis and resolution.
- Liaises with IT peers and the applications support & development vendor to identify improvement opportunities and drive implementation of enhancements.
- Conducts thorough analysis of existing business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Translates business needs into functional requirements.
- Follows up requests prioritized based on business value and overall strategy, actively participating in handling the pipeline of improvements.
- Meets with stakeholders to define problems and evaluate solutions. Studies alternative solutions and evaluates their technical feasibility.
- Participates in authorization set-up, authoring user documentation, user interface design, data migration and reconciliation.
- Works closely with development teams to ensure solutions are implemented effectively and in alignment with business requirements.
- Conducts testing and quality assurance to ensure solutions meet functional and performance expectations. Coordinates and supports User Acceptance Tests (UATs) for new solutions and version upgrades.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience working in a business application specialist role.
- Excellent command of English and Greek languages
- Analytical and numerical thinking
- Detail oriented
- Team player
Experience with
- ERP implementation, configuration, or support
- Use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP / Finance & Operations, or AX is obligatory
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV
- Microsoft Cloud (Power platform)
- LS/NAV
