The Data Engineer position is full-time, based in Marousi. Also, hybrid working is provided.

As Data Engineer, you will be part of the Data and Analytics team of the Technology Consulting practice and you will work with multi-disciplinary teams to support clients in a wide range of data initiatives aiming to generate and present new, useful and actionable insights. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

• Participate in large-scale client engagements.
• Contribute to or lead the delivery of innovative and engaging data engineering solutions.
• Understand business and technical requirements, providing subject matter expertise and implementing data engineering techniques.
• Design innovative data engineering solutions.
• Conduct data discovery activities, perform root cause analysis, and recommend remediation for data quality issues.
• Manage organizational and time management skills to prioritize and complete multiple complex projects under tight deadlines.

The successful Data Engineer will need to have the following skills:

• A BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other equivalent subject
• 1-3 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of Data Management, Data Warehousing and Cloud concepts 
• Working experience in complex SQL querying and development (Joins, Stored procedures/functions, Aggregations/Window Functions, CTEs, Indexes, optimization)
• Experience in ETL/Pipelines design & development using industry tools (e.g. SSIS, Databricks etc)
• Excellent command in English both oral and written
• Experience with Python programming
• Familiarity with Cloud Data Platforms (Azure, Databricks) and knowledge of Apache Spark and Big Data Infrastructure will be considered as an asset
• Experience in the banking industry will also be a plus
• Availability for on-call responsibilities
