Restaurant manager

On behalf of our client, a prestigious and well-regarded collection of luxurious lifestyle resorts and hotels in Greece and Cyprus, we are looking to hire an experienced Restaurant Manager for Nicosia to become part of their team.

Candidate profile:

• At least 2-3 years of demonstrated experience in a comparable role within a hotel or restaurant setting.
• A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in both English and Greek.
• A friendly, trustworthy, and approachable demeanor.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills for managing staff relations and addressing guest concerns.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Oversee the efficient and organized functioning of the restaurant.
• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the restaurant.
• Provide exceptional service to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Address and resolve customer complaints in a timely manner.
• Create staff schedules while considering service quality and managing labor costs.
• Assign tasks and responsibilities to staff to achieve objectives and optimize resources.
• Maintain effective communication with all team members and other departments to ensure a supportive professional environment.
• Encourage teamwork and foster a positive workplace atmosphere.
• Stay informed about global food and beverage trends and suggest relevant innovations to the Hotel Manager.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of drinks to meet established standards.
• Implement enhancements to products and services.
• Manage inventory and order supplies and beverages.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
• Communicate and enforce company policies, standards, and procedures among staff to ensure compliance.
