As a Crew Training Officer

Due to the expansion of our fleet with container vessels and bulk carriers, we are actively seeking for a Crew Training Officer with enthusiasm to conduct Crew Training initiatives, to ensure safe and efficient operations at sea, utilizing the high technology standards of the company. The position is based in Piraeus Office Training Department.

As a part of your role, you will:

• Participate in the collection of seafarers training needs and suggests training areas

• Deliver prejoining familiarization Training to Officers and Cadets
• Prepare training material and conduct training sessions to seafarers
• Deliver training to Danaos Training Academies
• Efficient utilizes Crew Online Training Platform to achieve training targets

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have

• Onboard experience as Deck or Engine Officer (Class A license)
• Experience as Crew Trainer
• Computer literacy, (experience with Danaos Software will be considered as an additional asset)
• Experience with online training platforms will be considered as an additional asset
• Excellent presentation & communication skills and fluency in English
• Excellent interpersonal skills and multicultural mindset
• Organizational skills
• Availability for travelling
