Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is seeking a Rooms Division Manager to join its team. As a Rooms Division Manager, you will be responsible for managing and supervising the front desk, Guest Services as well as the housekeeping departments of the hotel. Furthermore, you are responsible for maximizing occupancy, managing rates, revenues and guides, training and developing the departments’ employees. You strive to improve guest satisfaction, following the operational standards, focusing on the company’s goals with care by following the company’s SOPs. The Rooms Division Manager reports directly to the Hotel Manager and the director of Sales. At Grecotel, we believe that our people are the cornerstone of our success. Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the rooms division, including housekeeping, front desk, reservations, and guest services.
  • Ensure the highest quality of service to guests, anticipating their needs and consistently exceeding their expectations.
  • Τrain, and supervise departmental team members to ensure exceptional performance.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure efficient operations and maximize profitability.
  • Prepare departmental budgets and monitor expenses to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness, organization, and security throughout the hotel.
  • Monitor and evaluate guest feedback to continuously improve services and amenities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a managerial position in the hospitality industry.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to excellence.
  • Experience in financial management and budgeting.
  • Adept at working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Positive attitude and ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages will be considered as an asset
