Key Responsibilities
- Administrative
- Monitoring of incoming correspondence.
- Opening of files, data entry and filing.
- Distribution of insurance and claims documents.
- Insurance & claims
- Assistant to account handler / senior marine insurance brokers.
- Monitoring renewals and claim’s progress.
- Reviewing, drafting and issuing of documentation.
- Providing internal support on insurance queries.
- Updating insurance, claims and financial records.
- Preparation of insurance-related spreadsheets and reports.
- Handling of War AP calls / breaches and sanction related matters.

- Work out of hours will be required.
Key Qualifications
- University – Bachelors / master’s in marine insurance, shipping or maritime Studies.
- Professional insurance qualifications i.e. CII, ACII
- Excellent knowledge of English. Arabic would be an advantage.
- Fluency with numbers and good command of MS Office including Excel.
Training & Experience
Individuals with 3-5 years of experience in the P&I and/or H&M insurance sector or a general understanding of marine insurance products, terminology and industry practices, or experience with a shipping industry background will be preferred.
