A distinguished luxury boutique hotel in Santorini is seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Housekeeper to lead its Housekeeping department and uphold exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest experience throughout the property.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong operational presence, an exceptional eye for detail, and a genuine passion for luxury hospitality. This individual will play a key role in ensuring that every guest enjoys a flawless and personalized experience through the highest standards of housekeeping excellence.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, the Executive Housekeeper will oversee all housekeeping operations, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry, linen management, and uniforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, organize, and oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation across all areas of the hotel.

• Manage, motivate, train, and develop a team of 9 housekeeping professionals, fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-performing work environment.

• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, public areas, back-of-house spaces, and laundry facilities to ensure compliance with luxury hospitality standards.

• Maintain a strong operational presence throughout the property, leading by example and supporting the team in daily operations whenever required.

• Collaborate closely with Front Office, Guest Experience, Engineering, and Food & Beverage teams to ensure seamless service delivery and an exceptional guest journey.

• Ensure the flawless preparation of guest accommodations, with particular attention to VIP arrivals, special occasions, and personalized guest requests.

• Monitor and maintain departmental inventories, including linens, uniforms, guest supplies, and housekeeping equipment.

• Develop and implement procedures that enhance efficiency, productivity, and service quality.

• Address guest feedback and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly, professionally, and with a guest-centric approach.

• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations and company policies.

• Continuously identify opportunities to elevate service standards and enhance the overall guest experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Housekeeping leadership position within a luxury hotel environment.

• Proven experience managing and developing housekeeping teams.

• Strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards and guest expectations.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

• Fluency in Greek and English is required.

• Additional language skills will be considered an asset.
